This 8-week program gives you everything you need to bicycle your way to fitness, except for the bike and helmet! Each week you'll have 5 rides and 2 rest days. The rides start out short and easy, gradually building in distance and intensity, to culminate in a 2-hour brisk-paced ride equivalent to about 25-35 miles. Every workout comes with tips about basic bike mechanics, bike maintenance, riding technique, and safety. You'll be in love with cycling long before the 8 weeks is up!

You'll do two long rides per week, ranging from one to four hours, and get helpful tips for fitting these rides into your schedule. Once you complete this program, you'll be ready for a "century" (100-mile) ride -- the cyclist's equivalent of the marathon, but with four times more scenery!
