Day 52: Bike 15 miles, paying attention to speed and cadence. Use today to focus on your speed, your strength, and knowing all your hard work is paying off. Tomorrow you'll start tapering, which means you'll reduce the amount and intensity of your workouts to make sure you arrive at the starting line rested and not overtrained. As of today, you'll have built as much strength as you can before race day. Starting tomorrow it'll be time to maintain that strength while minimizing fatigue.
