Day 12: Rest day. Yoga, stretching, core: Are you stretching and elongating your muscles? Most injuries come from tight muscles. I have a friend who is a professional triathlete and has been racing for several years. He has never gotten injured. We attribute this to his stretching routine--he stretches for an hour a night in front of the television.
