MAKE TODAY A REST DAY: As we said earlier, keeping a training journal is a vital habit to get into. Your journal provides an ongoing history of yourself as a runner -- which is what you are! We promised to give you more details about what to record in your training journal and why. First of all, for your WHR, just list 50%, 60%, 70%, and 80% of your MHR so you'll have these numbers handy and won't have to recalculate them before each workout.
