Day 029 - Nutrition

MAKE TODAY A REST DAY: This week we'll talk about everyone's favorite subject: nutrition. This usually translates to two questions: "What can I eat to turn me into an elite runner?" or, "Now that I'm running, can I eat anything I want and still look great?" We'll deal with the first question this week: how to eat right to help you run better. We'll get to the question of body composition in Week 10, so you have to stick with us at least until then! You've probably heard that you lose a large percentage of your body's heat through your head. On longer runs, it's a good idea to keep a "lid" on the heat. You might also think about a pair of gloves because your fingers are particularly prone to the cold.
