Day 057 - Congratulations!

5K race or run        Training via ActiveMail

CONGRATULATIONS! You did it -- today is the last day of your 5K taraining program! If you're racing today, Coach April says: "My best advice for race day: DON'T GO OUT TOO FAST!!! Hold back the first mile -- you'll be passing them all at the finish. GOOD LUCK!" Regardless of whether you're racing today or not, you should still be very proud of yourself for finishing this training program. Just enjoy the feeling of accomplishment for awhile, then start to think about your next goal. Do you want to train for a faster 5K distance? If so, you can repeat this Advanced 5K Training Program. If you want to train for a longer distance, try Coach April's 7K programs, 10K programs, or Coach April's 12K programs. If you just want to maintain your running fitness without training for a specific distance, check out Running Fitness Maintenance Program (http://www.activeroute.com/go/active/sports/running/training).
