FOR TODAY'S WORKOUT, CROSS-TRAIN OR RUN 3 MILES EASY: We've been encouraging you to ski, run in the water, or lift light weights on your cross-training days. Cycling, rowing machines and low-impact aerobics are also good non-pounding activities, but they don't bestow any direct benefit to running.
