Identify what you love and put your heart back into it.
A heart rate monitor measures your physical response to exercise stress. This is called physiological stress.
A heart rate monitor measures your emotional stress, too.
This is called psychomotor stress.
The number on your monitor is measuring the effects of both kinds of stress.
Let's say you want to know the answer to an important personal question in your life. Put on your monitor. Close your eyes and quietly go into your heart and ask the question. Feel what your heart's answer is and note your heart rate response to the question by the changes on the monitor.
I like to think of this process as "Identifying what you love and then putting your heart back into it." For me, it is one of the best ways to find out the answer to my big questions.
And when I have my heart's answer, I follow it. Almost always it guides me to where I can find happiness.
