Day 051 - Home stretch

These last three pieces of the 8-week Heart Rate Training Class are essential to finishing the class.



Step #8. Do the Workout.

This is the best of all of the 10 Steps to heart zone. Walking through the first seven steps leads you to the entrance to the training room--the actual workout.



Step #9. Log It.

activeroute.com has provided you with one of the most essential tools to your success: The Training and Nutrition Log. Use it to enter every single workout. I have found after 30 years of training and racing on a professional and age group level that keeping a Fitness log has been one of my greatest joys. I know it will be for you too.



Step #10. Revise It.

What you have learned over the last 8 weeks is challenging and powerful. That's because there is a very steep learning curve to both training and using the technology of a heart rate monitor to learn more and gain more. Throughout this class, I have provided you with the workouts and the supporting information about them. Remember that first training workout, called "The Observation Workout?" Back then I asked you simply to don your monitor and enjoy the information that it provides.



We have come a long way since that first Observation Workout. Congratulations on making it through the class and getting to this final week. I am now empowering you as a near graduate to start writing your own workouts and enjoying the creative power of a heart rate monitor. More information on that when we launch our "Advanced Heart Rate Training Class". Stay tuned for it but let the creative juices flow and train with your intuitive heart and your physical heart.
