Day 052 - Check your tires

45-minute ride at RPE 6        Training via ActiveMail

RIDE FOR 45 MINUTES AT RPE 6: After all the miles you've ridden the last seven weeks, it's time to check your tires for wear. Examine the tires in strong light, looking for cuts in the tread or for bulging sidewalls. Tires are worn out when the tread pattern is gone and the remaining tread is worn nearly to the casing. Replace worn tires, especially on the front, because a front-tire blowout is much more likely to cause a crash than a rear-tire flat.
