Day 050 - Go for those carbos

IT'S A REST DAY: During the next three days, rest and store glycogen in your muscles for the three long rides that are the culmination of this training program. The secret to being well-fueled is to eat 65% to 75% of your total calories as carbohydrate. It's easy if you substitute carbo-rich foods for fatty ones. Examples include applesauce on your toast rather than margarine, fruit rather than a dressing-drenched salad, and a bowl of rice with chili on top rather than a plain bowl of chili.
