Day 046 - Another time trial

1-hour ride at RPE 6, including a 3-mile time trial        Training via ActiveMail

RIDE FOR ONE HOUR AT RPE 6 WITH A THREE-MILE TIME TRIAL: Go back to your time trial course and repeat the ride. This time, go easier on the way out to the turnaround and pick it up on the return leg. Shoot for an RPE of 7 on the way out and 8 as you head back. The fastest times come from such "negative splits," where you save some energy in the first half so you can push hard on the homeward leg.
