IT'S A REST DAY: Have you ever marveled at the sculpted legs of elite riders, then wondered why your own muscles haven't began to bulge? It's usually a matter of heredity. Many top cyclists have a naturally low level of body fat, making their leg muscles much more visible. They also tend to have muscular legs to begin with -- that's why they achieved early success in cycling. But don't worry; fitness is far more important than outward appearance. Just keep riding and form will follow function.
