RIDE FOR TWO HOURS AT RPE 6-8: Here's another climbing tip: While you're partway up the hill, don't think about how far it is to the top. That can be mentally taxing. Instead, set intermediate goals for yourself: "I'll ride to the next telephone pole," or "I'll maintain my rhythm until I get to that big tree." Before you know it, you'll be on the descent!
