IT'S A REST DAY: Here's a climbing tip for longer ascents: Don't let your breathing get out of control so that you're gasping and panting. Control your speed, effort, and gearing so that you can keep breathing in a steady rhythm. Many riders take one in-breath and one out-breath for every three complete revolutions of the pedals. Experiment until you find what seems natural for you.
