RIDE FOR 45 MINUTES AT RPE 6: It's easy to go down hills both safely and fast. Here's how: Keep your crankarms horizontal. Don't put all your weight on the saddle. Support most of your weight on the pedals, slide back to the rear of the saddle, and squeeze the saddle's nose between your thighs to help control the bike. Relax your arms, hands, and shoulders. Keep your hands on the drops so they're near the brake levers in case you need to stop quickly.
