Day 055 - A tip from the pros

45-minute ride at RPE 6, including 2-3 short sprints        Training via ActiveMail

RIDE FOR 45 MINUTES AT RPE 6 AND INCLUDE TWO OR THREE SHORT SPRINTS: Most riders spin easily the day before a long ride, but take a tip from the pros and throw in a few short sprints. Top riders say these short efforts "open up their legs," making them feel better for the long one tomorrow. Don't do them all-out. Just get in a couple of brisk accelerations.
