Day 022 - Neck exercises

IT'S A REST DAY: Here's another exercise to help eliminate neck pain while riding. Stand up straight and put the heels of your hands against your forehead, with your fingers pointing up. Push your neck forward for 10 seconds while resisting with your hands. Then interlace your fingers and put the "basket" they form on the back of your head, with your little fingers toward the ceiling. Push your head back while resisting with your hands for ten seconds. Next, put the heel of your right hand, fingers up, on the right side of your head. Again, push your head to the side while you resist with your hand. Repeat with the other hand in the opposite direction. Do one to three sets. Stop if your neck hurts.
