Day 014 - Take short rests

RIDE FOR 2 HOURS AND 15 MINUTES AT RPE 6-8: Your rides are stretching out to 35-40 miles now, so don't be afraid to take a rest stop during these extended efforts. Pull off the road at a safe place, lean your bike against a tree, and stretch out a bit. Eat part of an energy bar and take a couple of swigs of water or sports drink. But don't waste time. Three to five minutes is long enough to be off the bike. Your legs will be much more responsive when you start again after this short break than they'll be if you linger for an extended stop.
