Day 045 - Hardest workout so far!

90-minute ride at RPE 6-7, including 3 5-minute repeats at RPE 8-9        Training via ActiveMail

RIDE FOR 90 MINUTES AT RPE 6 TO 7. INCLUDE THREE REPEATS OF FIVE MINUTES EACH AT RPE 8 TO 9: Today is your hardest workout so far: three five-minute repeats at an RPE of 9. The secret to doing hard repeats successfully is to listen to your body. If you can't sustain the speed on the third repeat, cut it short. You won't get the maximum benefit if you push through exhaustion merely to reach some arbitrary goal.
