Day 17: Run 2.5 miles and swim 400 meters. In the swim today, focus on your technique. It's hard to work on your own swimming technique (since you can't see yourself swim), so if you can get involved in a swim training group or team, do so! In a group you will find motivation, coaching, and camaraderie. This helps with the monotony often associated with pool training.
