Day 033 - Get to know your bike

Day 31: 15-30 minute run/walk        Training via ActiveMail

WEEK 5, Day 3: 15-30 minute run/walk. You should be working toward a goal of jogging the whole way during these runs. Today's bike tip: Do you have your own bike or are you borrowing one for your triathlon? If you're borrowing one, start riding it now. Also, it's good to know that a lot of handling skills, or the ability to control a bike effectively and efficiently, depend on having a bike that fits you properly. So if you feel awkward on your borrowed bike, it may be that it's just not the right fit for you. For a short triathlon, that's okay, but if you plan to keep riding and/or doing triathlons, you'll eventually want to invest in a bike that fits you properly.
