Day 020 - Strength in adversity

Day 18: Rest Day        Training via ActiveMail

WEEK 3, Day 4: Rest Day. It's your strength day. Are you keeping up with your core strength work? If you are comfortable with 50 situps in one session, increase to 60. Today's swimming tip: Compared to fish, humans aren't very streamlined. But we can do a lot to reduce our bodies' drag against the water by positioning our limbs properly. The most basic trick to remember is to always lie as flat as possible, with your body parallel to the surface of the water. Your head and chest should be slightly higher than your legs and ankles, so that you can kick. The water should cross your face at the hairline, and your shoulders should be at right angles to the line of your body.
