Day 016 - You've finished two weeks of training!

Day 14: Optional: 25-30 minutes in "weakest" sport        Training via ActiveMail

WEEK 2, Day 7: Optional workout: 25-30 minutes in your weakest sport. Remember that the focus during the first month of training depends on your background. The rule is: Take your weakest sport and learn the skills necessary to make it your best sport. By the end of the month, you should be able to combination run/walk for 30 minutes continuously, swim-rest-swim for 30 minutes, and cycle continuously for 30 minutes. Congratulations! Today marks the end of your second week of triathlon training! Maybe you're finding it fairly easy to integrate the training into your schedule. Or maybe you're asking yourself, When am I going to find time for all of this training when I'm already so busy? You aren't reading this email or training for triathlons because you are bored or because there's nothing else to do in your life. You're probably reading it because you want more--more challenges, more information, more motivation. If there's a place for fitness in your life, there is time for tri-training. It isn't easy, and you may have to make some trade-offs, but when you make your health your first priority and when you know that being physically fit is the foundation of your health, training becomes quite important enough to make time for.
