Concerned with the safety of fashion conscious climbers who had started wearing normal trainers, he took the outsole from an ASICS(tm) baseball shoe and married this to the upper of a normal training shoe!; Thanks to his ingenious hybrid, climbers could now be safe and fashionable at the same time.
