FOR TODAY'S WORKOUT, WALK OR CROSS-TRAIN 40 MINUTES: Another cross-training tip for the day: Swimming and light upper-body resistance training build strength in the postural muscles. Notice we say LIGHT upper-body resistance training. Don't go for building massive chest and back muscles -- the extra mass won't help your running.
