FOR TODAY'S WORKOUT, CROSS-TRAIN OR RUN THREE MILES AT AN EASY PACE: For the first few weeks, don't do the same activity on every cross-training day -- mix it up. This will both make the cross-training more fun, and reduce your chance of injury from overtraining in any one activity.
