Day 053 - Specificity

TODAY IS A REST DAY. A key physiological principle for endurance training is that of specificity. What it means is: don't play tennis to train for a triathlon, which you've figured out by now. But specificity also applies to terrain and equipment, meaning if you are planning an event on hilly terrain, you should train some on the hills, same if your event is mountain bike instead of road or vice versa.
