Day 041 - Travel Days and a Massage

15 minute strength training routine at a level 1-2 intensity. Level 1 intensity = 60-70% max. HR. plus a 15-minute stretching routine.        Training via ActiveMail

TODAY IS A TWO SESSION DAY. FIRST, DO A 15 MINUTE STRENGTH TRAINING ROUTINE AT LEVEL 1-2 INTENSITY. If you travel for business, don't think that your program has to stay at home. Most hotels now offer some form of a fitness center, and most areas have at least one nice park or school which can be used to do a workout. When you're on the road, try to get your workout in first thing, that way if the business day gets away from you, you'll have gotten your daily dose of exercise. YOUR SECOND SESSION IS A 15-MINUTE STRETCHING ROUTINE. A massage is a great way to relax, enhance your recovery, and work out any kinks that may have formed along the way. Schedule a massage this week, in fact, schedule one every week. Find a massage therapist who is certified and is used to working on individuals who exercise, they'll know how to work on your body and get it ready for another week of training.
