We begin seven days of reduced volume training. This period is important to allow your body to recover and adapt to the training you've completed over the past 21 days. Take today off, or, if you're feeling antsy, do the strength training cirucuit you've been doing.
The next seven days will consist of reduced volume training, with a slight increase in intensity. However, this doesn't mean that you can slack off and not swim! Try to rest your body over these days, so that you will be ready for the second half of the program, when the distances of the workouts will increase.
