Today's workout is simply a long, monotonous (sorry) way of cementing your negative split/even split prowess with two consecutive back-to-back miles. The goal is to descend by 500's and hopefully duplicate the 3000 times you did on Day 1 and Day 27. If you are tired from weights, concentrate on long strokes and the negative splitting aspect of the drill, not the time. But if you can match the time, that's great too.
