Day 042 - Rest Day!

Rest Day        Training via ActiveMail

TODAY IS A REST DAY. Congratulations, you've made it through week 6!

By now you are feeling fit, strong, and flexible. Rest up because we are about to turn up the intensity and really set things on fire!

TRAINING TIP: SAQ training reinforces the movements not only in your muscles, but in your brain, too. The central nervous system (CNS) sends messages to a muscle's individual motor units to team up and recruit more muscle fiber. The thing that I'm most cautious about is the CNS activity. When you go 90 percent or harder, it puts a tremendous amount of stress on your CNS and muscles, which causes deep fatigue in your body. It takes about 72 to 96 hours to recover. Pay attention to how you are feeling, prevent injury, and never overtrain.

This workout program is for optimal training for advanced athletes. If you are feeling tired, take an extra day off per week.
