IT'S A REST DAY: Continuing yesterday's theme, regular exercise has many benefits in terms of both cardiovascular fitness and body composition. For example, exercise increases the diameter of the coronary arteries, which increases the blood supply to the heart. It also reduces the amount of stored body fat, which is one of the main reasons people are motivated to start exercising in the first place.
