Day 012 - Be realistic

BLOCK 4: WALK FOR 28 MINUTES WITH A DISTANCE GOAL OF 1.3 TO 1.4 MILES: Be realistic about how long it will take your body to get used to your new focus on activity. Don't expect big changes overnight. You should notice a difference about four to six weeks from the start of this program. And keep in mind the fact that, although sticking with your workout schedule is the ultimate goal, research shows that your chances of success are better if you incorporate active lifestyle changes throughout all areas of your life, such as taking the stairs instead of the elevator. The bottom line is you have to be ready to change to an active lifestyle.
