THREE WEEKS TO YOUR GOAL RACE! This is the second week of Cycle III of your training. Your goal race, or your goal level of conditioning if you're not racing, is just three weeks away! Your focus this week is on peaking and on adding intensity. YOUR WORKOUT: SWIM: SET 1: (1) 1 x 400 free at L2. (2) 1 x 300 drill at L2. (3) 1 x 200 kick at L2. (4) 1 x 100 fast at L3. Rest 30" between these swims. SET 2: (1) 15 x 100 at L4. Swim at your 1500-meter race pace. Rest 30" after each 100. SET 3: 6 x 150 pull with 10" rest after each 150. Hold a steady pace. ABS: 10'. STRETCH: 10'.
