FOR TODAY'S WORKOUT, RUN 10 MILES Continue to stay conversational during your long runs (and all your exercise sessions). As we said before, this means you should be exerting yourself at a low enough level that you can talk to your running buddy -- taking deep breaths between sentences if you have to, but you shouldn't be gasping for air.
