Day 008 - Week 2: Rebuild slowly

THIS IS WEEK 2 OF YOUR ACTIVE RECOVERY! Here's the breakdown on your total workout time for this week if you do everything: Age Group: 8.5 hours; Elite: 9; Pro: 9.5. TODAY'S WORKOUT: SWIM, DISTANCE FREESTYLE (PULLING), L3 (1-2 word sentences possible): Age Group - 600, 500, 400, 300, 200 (2000 yards total): This set is called "Get and Beat." During the 600, "get" your 500 split time. Swim the 500, "beat" your previous 500 time, and "get" your 400 time. Swim the 400, "beat" your previous 400 time, and "get" your 300 time. Etc... Elite: Get and Beat: 900, 700, 500, 300, 100; 2500 yards total. Pro: 1000, 800, 600, 400, 200 = 3000 yards total. Concentrate on keeping length in your stroke. You have to swim faster as the distances get shorter. Good luck!
