Montrail - Kalahari (Stone/Denim) - Men's: The Kalahari is a ventilated trail shoe that is more robust and stabilizing than a trail running shoe, yet still flexible and supple. The all-synthetic upper has large mesh windows to allow your feet to breathe easily, but plenty of upper support and protection against trail hazards. Built on the same last as the TRS Comp and Torre GTX, this shoe has a wide forefoot and roomy toe box. However, since the IntegraFitTM last is snug in the heel and supportive through the arch, most foot shapes find this fit comfortable. Like the Tamarack, the Kalahari is a stable shoe appropriate for individuals using custom orthotics or ne eding a torsionally rigid shoe. Padded tongue design provides added comfort. All-synthetic upper for optimal breathability, light weight and quick drying. TPU plate like a trail runner, but stiffer for a more rigid platform. Polyester/nylon lining is quick drying and low-friction to prevent hot spots. Shoe weighs 15 oz.
