Training Tip: Rest is perhaps the most important component to gaining strength and building up your level of fitness. Rest is important for muscle growth and cell repair, as well injury prevention. Signs of over-training include: Insomnia, irritability, elevation in blood pressure, fatigue, depression, loss of appetite, decreased or lost motivation to exercise, increase in colds, and increase of injuries. So take your rest days seriously. You've earned them!
