Day 003 - Aerobic Cardio

Cardio-Aerobic: Run @ RPE 6.5-7, CD/Stretch        Training via ActiveMail

Run for 30 minutes on flat terrain. *RPE of 6.5-7


TRAINING TIP: Open up your chest by taking deep breaths from low in your chest. Think about breathing from your belly. More oxygen exchange occurs in the lower lobes of the lungs where the alveoli are the most numerous and dense. You will experience less fatigue and lactic acid build-up in your muscles, feel more alert and have more energy.

*RPE is an abbreviation for Rating of Perceived Exertion, which is a measure of intensity based on a 1 to 10 scale. (1 being lowest, 10 being highest)
