Day 033 - Paced swim and tempo run

Day 33: Swim 500m, run 3 miles        Training via ActiveMail

Day 33: Swim 500 meters and run 3 miles. Try breathing on both sides for your swim. It is now time to think about trying an open water swim. Learning to "spot" your course along the swim is essential for open water. Another thing you may want to do is gather a group of friends and practice the swim start. You can do this in the pool or in open water. Swim right on each others' feet, trying to grab them--this will prepare you mentally and physically for the ""will I get swum over"" fear that most triathletes feel.
