Day 063 - Injury Prevention

45-minute Overdistance (OD) run at level 1 intensity. Level 1 intensity = 60-70% of your max. heart rate.        Training via ActiveMail

TODAY DO AN OVERDISTANCE (OD) RUN FOR 45 MINUTES AT LEVEL 1 INTENSITY. If you ever feel as though you might be on the verge of an injury (for example, your knee seems to be getting progressively more stiff), take a day off and treat the effected area. Ice, anti-inflammatories (ibuprofen or aspirin) and rest are the best initial forms of treatment for most overuse injuries. If the discomfort persists, seek qualified medical advice from a sports medicine physician or physical therapist.
