TODAY YOU HAVE A CHOICE: WALK OR CROSS-TRAIN: As you've noticed by now, there are different ways to evaluate your cross-training activities. Are they good for running? Are they neutral, i.e., neither good nor bad for running? Are they effective for fat-burning? If burning fat is your goal on cross-training days, your best bets are cross-country skiing machines, stationary cycling, and rowing machines.
