FOR TODAY'S WORKOUT, RUN 30-45 MINUTES: What's a "training component"? It's an element or aspect of your fitness. Components include endurance, maintenance, and speed (but speed only applies if you've run a marathon before). These run/walks that you repeat several times each week provide the maintenance component of your training: keeping the previous week's fitness gains.
