TODAY YOU HAVE A CHOICE: WALK OR CROSS-TRAIN: You can get in shape for a marathon running just three days each week: one long run and two other sessions lasting at least 30 minutes each. The two shorter sessions can be run/walks, like you're doing in this program. By spending the rest of the week walking and resting, you maintain the conditioning you've developed while letting your running muscles recover and grow stronger.
