TODAY, RUN FOR 30 MINUTES AT 60% MHR: The bodies of animals (including people) are just about the only machines that improve the more they are used. Your body improves when careful stress is applied. Stress the muscles of your body, then back off to let it repair itself; when you again apply stress, your body will be capable of more work than when you first stressed it.
