TODAY IS YOUR LONG RUN: When you reach the 12-mile limit for your long runs, go ahead and increase by 2 miles every 2 weeks instead of 1 mile every week. Don't increase beyond 16 miles until you get into the speed phase of the pyramid, which starts at Week 23.
