Day 050 - Rigid or floppy feet?

0-2 mile run        Training via ActiveMail

FOR TODAY'S WORKOUT, RUN UP TO 2 MILES: Do you have a rigid or a floppy foot? "Rigid" means your foot is hinged predominantly forward and back; "floppy," predominantly side to side. This is the single most important factor in proper shoe selection. A good running shoe store can help you figure out which kind of foot you have (it helps if you bring them one of your old pairs of running shoes so they can see the wear patterns).
