Day 035 - Avoid overstriding

FOR TODAY'S WORKOUT RUN/WALK 7-8 MILES: When you take off for your weekly long run today, remember what we said in the past weeks about turnover, and how you shouldn't try to speed up by taking bigger strides. That's called "overstriding" -- extending the lower leg too far in front of the body in order to go faster. This makes your running inefficient and aggravates the mechanical action of legs and joints.
