TODAY, DO AN OVERDISTANCE (OD) RUN FOR 50 MINUTES AT LEVEL 1 INTENSITY. Many of us disassociate when we workout, thinking about work, family, money, the dog, the weather, or anything that takes our mind away from what we are actually doing. Learn to associate while your training, thinking about your technique, nutritional needs, speed and intensity, and listening to your inner voice. Start with short periods of attention to the task at hand and gradually increase your attention span. Your workouts will be the better for it.
